Description:
The organism possesses an oval lorica with a protective outer cuticle resembling a shell. At the anterior end, there are three pairs of spines. The central pair of spines curves towards the ventral surface, while the outer pair converge and the next pair diverge slightly. It has a single reddish eye and a central funnel-shaped mouth surrounded by cilia rings. Reproduction occurs through asexual means.

Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
