Description:
This organism boasts an oval, arched carapace that encloses both its body and legs. It features a well-defined head with a noticeable median eye. The first antennae are firmly attached to the head, while the second antennae are biramous. Numerous sensory hairs are situated approximately midway between the tip and base. The posterior section of the intestine sharply angles downward. Its abdominal claw exhibits 6-7 teeth, progressively larger towards the tip. The species achieves dense populations primarily through parthenogenetic reproduction.

Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
